About the Role
In this role, you will work within a team of 15 staff in the engineering department which manages the repairs and maintenance of all building services and equipment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Raise, allocate and close off work orders.
Generate and issue purchase orders and work orders to approved contractors.
Ensure work records are received and filed appropriately.
General reception duties, department meeting agendas and minutes, as well as other tasks as assigned by the manager
Broad understanding of building maintenance services and applicable terminology.
Basic understanding of hospital operations is desirable.
Sound understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Email etc.
Very good office management skills, particularly record keeping.
Works effectively in a small team with good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated ability to work proactively and without supervision
