Reporting to the Deputy Head-Education, the Scientific Education Specialist is responsible for the coordination, delivery and growth of student offerings including new academic content and scientific coursework. They will also curate external academic offerings to optimally support students from all backgrounds whilst continuing to run existing programmes and degrees. As an integral part of the key leadership team, this role will have important links with both internal and external stakeholders, for the development of course content, such as internal experts in scientific areas under development and those at neighbouring institutions.
PhD in Science
Passion for scientific education and the latest technological breakthroughs
In depth knowledge of pedagogical approaches and the ways in which these can influence how knowledge and skills are imparted in the adult education context
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and a proven aptitude for communicating effectively with a variety of audiences
Self-motivated with the proven ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives concurrently
