Hours: *7day Rota 8am – 8.30pm, Working 3days, off 4 days and once every 4 weekends*

We have an opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Bury Intermediate Tier - Rapid Response in Bury.
*Responsibilities: *
* To provide assessment and rehabilitation to a wide range of patients with physical disabilities both within Intermediate Care, Rapid Response and Community setting.
* To provide and receive complex, sensitive information to/from patients, their carers’, multi-disciplinary team and Community Services.
* To actively support in in the planning, co-ordinating and evaluation of occupational therapy service in this speciality on a day-to-day basis.
* To develop and implement specialist treatment programmes to meet the needs of patient with specific conditions to the post e.g. neurological disorder /medical & surgical, MSK or care relating to elderly patients
To working within a multi-disciplinary community team, sharing relevant client information as is appropriate.
In order to apply for this post you *must *have:
* A good knowledge of OT equipment & have moving & handling skills.
* Cognitive and psycho-social assessment skills.
* Experience of holistic assessment of patients’ needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of treatment programmes for a range of Aging and Complex Medical patients
* HCPC Registration
* UK work experience
