*Shift Pattern: *9:00 – 17:00

In this role you will be working as an Occupational Therapist within a Mental Health capacity. This role involves providing mental health occupational therapy services in a multi-disciplinary team, to patients on an acute psychiatric ward who have mental health needs. There is an expectation to contribute to the development of the service and liaise with other local services within the community.

This role expects you to be able to be responsible for utilising your clinical skills to provide high quality assessments and diagnoses of patients in order to devise comprehensive treatment plans covering a mixed caseload. You must be able to act autonomously as well as operate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, whilst also providing guidance, training and support to junior staff, and the support system around patients. All this must be accomplished at the same time as maintaining the objectives of the service and working within the parameters of the services operational model.
*To be successful in applying for this role you will need: *
* Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
* Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience
* Enhanced DBS
* Experience of working within the NHS
* A valid UK driving license and access to your own car
