The team at Paws Veterinary Centre are looking for a dedicated registered veterinary nurse to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of a permanent role. No two days are the same here at our busy practice and we cover a varied caseload.
The duties will include:
Monitoring anaesthetics
Care of day patients and in-patients
Nurse clinics
Assisting Veterinary Surgeons
Occasional reception work
Any other general nursing responsibilities
The role will be 30-40hrs per week with 1:4 Saturday mornings (until 12 pm) and no OOH, however, we are happy to offer a flexible shift pattern to the right candidate.
The salary for this role is up to £29,000 FTE depending on experience.
We are situated in Colchester with easy access to London (45mins via train) and a stone's throw away from the idyllic Mersea Island.
Our small practice is equipped with all the up-to-date facilities including:
Direct digital x-ray
Multi-parameter monitoring
Ultrasound machine
Endoscope
In-house laboratory equipment
Dental equipment
We can confidently say that the best part of our practice is our dedicated team! We have 2 vets, 4 registered veterinary nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse, 1 veterinary care assistant and 3 receptionists.
