Environment Advisor

Your opportunity

Your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • The development, implementation and control of project environmental plans
  • Providing sound and timely technical advice, training and assistance to the project
  • Supporting the Environment Manager in developing, implementing and delivering training packages for staff
  • Undertaking field inspections and audits on environmental performance criteria, compliance and defects and responding to Incidents
  • Maintaining a positive and outcome-driven relationship with key project team members such as the Client representatives, senior project management and supervision teams.
  • We are looking for someone with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Ideally 5+ years construction experience in the related field
  • Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, negotiation and relationship skills
  • Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications, construction industry induction (white card), drivers’ licence and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.
