    About this opportunity

    You will complete a Electrician over either 36 or 24 months (depending on Year) through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with our Host Employer.

    Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist qualified tradespeople in the installation, testing and repairs of power, lighting, communication and automation systems
  • Complete set out and rough in and switchboard and metering alterations
  • Use handheld, battery operated and specialist tools of the trade to carry out tasks
  • Assist in general electrical duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence and ability of an apprentice

    To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge:

  • Commitment to both on and off the job training
  • Demonstrated interest and passion for the Electrical trade
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of safety and manual handling techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Developed mathematical ability
  • Mandatory Requirements

  • Current drivers licence (P1 or above)
  • WHS Construction Industry Induction (White Card (or willingness to obtain))
