In this role you will be working as a Residential Support Worker in an Onsite Shared Support Model. You will be providing support to up to 10 tenants, who live in their own apartments. You will enable complete autonomy, choice, and control for the tenants, empowering them to live as independently as possible!

In this modern model of disability support, you will provide pre-planned and “on-call” assistance to ensure residents are comfortable and safe in their own homes. These state-of-the-art apartments are equipped with the newest technology to support and assist tenants and their individual needs.

You will join a collaborative and supportive team, who will provide individualised training so you can best support our varied cohort of residents.

This is a permanent part time opportunity – based in Melbourne, VIC.

  • What do you need?

    Our ideal Residential Support Worker will showcase strong interpersonal skills and be able to quickly develop rapport with people of varied abilities and diverse backgrounds. You will be able to think on your feet and work autonomously as required.

    You will meet the following requirements.

  • Certificate IV in Disability Studies;
  • Current First Aid Certificate with up-to-date CPR;
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain;
