The Pharmacy Site Coordinator of Supply Chain and 340B Compliance serves as an authoritative resource on supply chain and 340B management. This coordinator will oversee and control all aspects of pharmacy/medication-related supply chain and medication-related financial management for the institution, including medication and supply purchasing, inventory management, vendor management, group purchasing organization (GPO) and wholesaler relationships, standardization, supply-chain related information systems and technology, preparation of the monthly and annual pharmaceutical supply chain budget and variance report. The incumbent must have a thorough understanding of supply chain and Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) best practices. Additionally, responsibilities include oversight of participation in and compliance with the 340B Federal Drug Discount Program for all covered entities to include: planning, implementing, supporting, and optimizing projects related to the 340B program at UM SRH, participation in the policy and procedure development, education to internal and external stakeholders, rules/ guidance surveillance, registration/ recertification, self and external audits, contract management, and reporting and program enhancement/ optimization projects. The incumbent serves as the subject matter expert for all matters regarding the 340B Program and will oversee all uses of the split billing software.

This coordinator is expected to develop, direct, and maintain an effective work group consisting of direct and indirect report managers.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Education:

* Required: Bachelors or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy
* Preferred: PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency with focus in 340B management; Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area or MBA

Work Experience

* Required: Three (3) to Five (5) years of working experience as a pharmacist in an institutional setting; Prior experience with pharmacy inventory management and distribution systems
* Preferred: Experience supervising staff; Prior experience in pharmacy supply chain and 340B management

Licenses & Certifications

* Required: Current Maryland Pharmacist License (or eligible for licensure in the state of Maryland)
* Preferred: Advanced 340B Operations Certificate (340B ACE); Board certified through BPS, Lean Six Sigma Certification
