Overview

Provides assistance to the Home Health Director and Accounting Director, including all aspects of administrative support by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
* Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
* Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
* Welcomes on-site visitors with a customer service friendly attitude, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
* Ensures all job candidates appropriately register welcome new hires to orientation.
* Log all incoming checks for accounting.
* Track and deposit checks for accounting.
* Scan and upload medical records of HH clients.
* Assist with scheduling of aide visits.
* Updates appointment calendars.
* Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications.
* Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
* Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
* Assists with special projects as required.
* Maintain the confidentiality of all resident, staff and organization information.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
