We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for the building renovations and improvement projects, preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee building renovations and improvement projects
  • Responsible for HVAC, water, gas, electricity and all facility related systems and ensure they are well-maintained
  • Ensure a safe and clean facility
  • Ensure facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
  • Support production equipment installation
  • Supervise multidisciplinary teams of staff including maintenance, cleaning, grounds and security
  • Responsible for annual budgeting and capital expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Continuous improvement of cost and efficiency of facility
  • Negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors in a timely and reliable manner.
  • Inspect and schedule appropriate maintenance to meet ownership's expectations.
  • Advise businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and above in STEM field
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience as a facility manager
  • Excellent project management skills for building renovation and improvement projects
  • Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and other building systems
  • Direct experience in leading and supporting facility and production equipment installation
  • Good understanding and knowledge of facility safety including OSHA and safety compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members
  • Ability to assess and react to changing priorities and adjust workflow accordingly
  • Ability to train, motivate and supervise others; previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Self-directed, reliable and motivated. Takes initiative
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing facilities for volume production of electronic devices
  • Experiences in global operations
