Exciting opportunities to join the Nursing Support Services team as a Nurse Advice RN. As a Nurse Advice RN you will be responsible for providing telephonic clinical assessment and health education according to established protocol to Washington and Oregon patients (with Enliven by Vancouver Clinic now open in Gresham, OR and Internal Medicine at NW 23rd open in Portland, OR ). Possibility of working remote after successful completion of on-site training (will need to meet remote worker* requirements). All schedules train full time for first 90 days.

Available Schedules: (please indicate preferred schedule in cover letter)

* Part time, 20 hours/week: Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00a to 9:00p (two, 10 hour shifts) - Evening differential ($2.00) available.

* Part time, 20 hours/week: Thursday and Friday, 10:00a to 9:00p (two, 10 hour shifts) - Evening differential ($2.00) available.

* Part time, 24 hours/week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00a to 5:00p (three, 8 hour shifts)

Pay range starts at $35/hr. and goes up based on experience.

Essential Duties

* Adapt communication style to persons representing diverse personal, professional, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.

* Ability to multi-task: simultaneously think, talk, and type, and process phone calls in a timely manner.

* Use excellent hearing and listening skills to receive detailed information. Complete required documentation accurately.

* Utilize computer database to assess, educate, and document all information in an accurate, detailed manner

* Triage and prioritize patient needs based on nursing assessment, availability of resources and patient preference.

* Educate patients and families in health care issues and needs.

* Assist patient in obtaining necessary appointments and testing to meet his/her needs.

* Meet minimum established quality and productivity standards.

* Triage voice mail messages to meet needs of acutely ill patients first.

Required qualifications

* Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

* Current unencumbered RN licenses for both states of WA and OR.

* Minimum of three years' experience in acute care, ambulatory area, or tele-health preferred.

* Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.

* Remote worker must live in local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have secure home network with download speed, min 25 Mbps and upload speed, min 5 Mbps.

$2,000 bonus awarded after successful completion of three months of employment, and $3,000 awarded after twelve months of employment. Eligible new hires only. Bonus subject to applicable tax withholding.
