Update: Sign on Bonus Eligible up to $2500 after waiting period. Competitive pay with shift differential for second shift. This is a 2nd shift opening - hours are 2 pm to 10 pm M-F with occasional weekend work.

Experience in the electrical/instrumentation field is required. Duties include but are not limited to assembly, installation, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, apparatus and fixtures, and electronic wiring. Troubleshooting skills, failure analysis, debugging, and problem solving are also skills we desire of an industrial electrical technician.

The qualified Electrical Technician candidate should also have the ability to troubleshoot PLC’s, and be competent with programming of VFD’s and make repairs as required.

Electrical Technician must be a self-starter yet willing to take direction from others as part of a team of skilled trade workers in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications for Electrical Technician:

Associates Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years of related experience is desired. State licensing a plus.

Previous experience of at least 3 years with instruments, PLC’s, transmitters, loops, Allen Bradley and Siemens controls, and control circuits and voltage up to 480. Some mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Demonstrated ability in component and instrument calibration and blueprint reading and interpretation.

Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety related instructions and procedures in the English language.

Salary Range for Electrical Technician is $22 to $35 per hour.
