Live shows make us feel good. They're a time to hang with our friends, discover new artists or lose ourselves on a dancefloor. We're on a mission to bring all of this to more fans, more often – and that's where you come in.
We're looking for a Head of QA to join our Product team and help maintain the quality of DICE's mobile and web platforms for fans and partners.
At DICE, you'll be part of the company that's redefining live entertainment. It's a place where you can be yourself, influence the culture, and create work that you're proud of.
About the role
You will direct the QA strategy for our Product team, leading the implementation of best practices for quality assurance across our web and mobile platforms. You will be the first point of call, and help drive and improve areas of testing for the QA team.
You'll be
Providing leadership and technical expertise across our QA and automation teams.
Directing QA strategy, methodology, disciplines and framework.
Working closely with our Engineering Operations Lead and Engineering teams to develop and implement best practices in QA.
Providing mentoring and guidance to the QA leads and engineers across our web, mobile, manual and automation functions.
Acting as an escalation point for QA issues, and operating as a primary point of contact for the QA teams.
You are
Passionate, humble and talented.
A fan of music and culture.
Actively responsible.
A capable leader.
Someone who cares about maintainability of the software.
You'll need
Proven experience implementing and shaping QA strategies.
Experience leading a QA function, managing complex activities and processes.
Strong manual and automation technical background ideally in a continuous improvement environment.
The ability to build, implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain the quality of delivery.
Solid knowledge of mobile, web and backend platforms.
Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Slack, Figma and Notion.

During the pandemic, we've learned that working from home can help us focus, but many of us are missing the buzz of the office. We're still figuring out the best way for us all to work together in the future, and we'll involve the whole team in any decisions we make.
Our Product team is distributed, with hubs in London, and one on the way in Barcelona. But we're looking for talented people, wherever you are.
Application process
Our process usually involves a quick chat on the phone, a portfolio review or task and a couple of interviews where you'll meet the people you'll work with. We'll keep you fully informed along the way.
