What you'll be doing

You will complete a over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience. 

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

Perform planned maintenance repairs of fabrication equipment; 
Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools and fixtures for fabricating;
Assist in the welding, cutting and marking of fabrication sheets
Apply fabrication, forming and shaping techniques;
Use a combination of hand and power tools such as profile cutters and presses to carry out duties
Work with qualified tradesmen in a workshop environment
Assemble fabricated components;

What you'll bring to the table…

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:

Ability to work as part of a team
Commitment to both on and off the job training
A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work safely and follow instructions
Ability to commence Apprenticeship in January 2023;
Demonstrated interest/passion in the trade;
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude;
WHS Construction White Card
Covid Vaccination Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Drivers Licence (Provisional)
