Position Summary

The Operations Analyst is responsible for data-driven analysis of business functions, with the objective of developing insights and making recommendations to identify solutions, KPI’s and Key Metrics that drive process improvements, business growth and financial performance of the operating group.

Essential Functions

Identify and establish scope and parameters of reporting systems and data analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
Queries, collects, and analyzes financial and operational data sets for analysis
Performs quantitative analysis using advanced Excel skills, statistical methods, and other analytical tools to prepare and deliver reports and recommendations
Concisely communicates assumptions, findings, and recommendations of analysis to leadership
Develops cross-functional working relationships to discover and master relevant data sets, allowing a total systems analytical view
Communicates effectively with operations and all other KAG functional departments.
Works towards higher levels of automation in analytics, participating in development of future data warehouse
Develop and document research, data retrieval, and data analysis methodologies for use by other personnel.
Monitor and assist with the implementation of Key Metrics and KPI’s for the operating group
Develop strategies for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reporting systems and creating new or additional reports and reporting systems.


High School Diploma required; Degree or pursuit of a degree in the field(s) of supply chain, operational management, statistics, or business administration strongly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, etc.) and Power BI data handling and analytical skills
Previous knowledge or experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies a plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
Keen listening and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Highly self-motivated, logical, and efficient with strong focus and attention to detail.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
