Description

*Residential Support Worker Children's Homes*
*Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire area*
*Salary: £21,294 - £22,916 (£10.50 - £11.30 per hour) plus £3000 - £6000 pa for sleep-ins. (£62.64 per sleep-in)*
*Shift patterns - *Full and part time considered working long days plus extra sleep in (approx. 4-6 sleep ins per month)

*As a therapeutic support worker you will*:
* Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
* Provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
* Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs,
* Enjoy fun days out such as bowling and activities
* Carry out household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
* Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations

*What do you need?*
* We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
* Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
* Experience and previous qualifications are not necessary but are welcome and will be recognised in your hourly pay rate.
* You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
