We are looking for an Quantity Surveyor to work with our clients.
What you will contribute to the team;
Working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team providing commercial support
Support and advise the project manager in respect of fulfilment of all contractual obligations.
Produce detailed cost plans throughout the design phase of projects.
Actively promote and implement Value engineering and value for money
Review appraise and report on Main Contract / Sub-contract tender
Candidate Specification
Required for the position of Quantity Surveyor;
Chartered QS MRICS or Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject (or equivalent)working towards chartered status (MRICS)
Proven skills and experience of delivering within a Cost Consultancy/Main Contractor
Flexibility in work location and travel
NEC Experience.
Preferred experience in using Cemar
Must be eligible for UK security clearance
Preferred, but not required
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Effective time management
Customer focus
Preferred experience in using electronic measurement systems

The Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) unit delivers management services in all the sectors that Mott MacDonald operate in the Built Environment, Defence, Energy, Water, Transportation and, Education, Health and Care.
The Unit delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity up to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of Programme Management, Project Management, Project Controls, Scheduling, Cost Management, Estimating, Infrastructure Finance, Management Consulting, Digital Consulting and Education, Health and Care Management.
