Whole Life Engineering (WLE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time.  WLE consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers.  Our WLE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.  Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines:  Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
Job Summary:
The Reliability Engineering Team supports Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) programs by pursuing synergies between the technical disciplines. Our responsibilities include creating the optimal design in terms of Performance, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability per dollar invested.  We support new design proposals for our customers as well as provide support for existing and/or fielded programs and also programs that are in manufacturing.
 
We are looking for a Jr. Reliability Engineer to join our Reliability team located in Tucson, AZ.  In this role you’ll ensure the performance compliance of both customer and internal requirements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

In this role you’ll have the following responsibilities:
Assist with assessing Reliability performance and defining Reliability requirements
Supporting Senior Engineers
Support Reliability Test Planning and Execution
Travel not anticipated for this role but be willing to travel as needed, approximately 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically Requires:  Bachelor's degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience OR in absence of a Bachelor’s degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required. 
Employment Experience:
Engineering or manufacturing experience
Experience with reliability analysis, failure investigations and/or root cause/corrective action (RCCA)
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
