Location: Georgia, Mableton (ATL)

This position will be responsible for providing Human Resource support for multiple distribution centers. The position will be responsible for HR activities for the area. Partnering with Distribution Center Management, the Area Senior HR Manager will implement best practices and programs encompassing all aspects of the HR function within the area.

• Advise and make recommendations to the Distribution Centers' management teams on all areas of human resources.
• Plan, organize, control and execute all activities of the HR departments within the area.
• Business Partner to the Distribution Center General Managers and Area General Managers.
• Partner with operations leadership on workforce planning and ensure distribution centers are properly staffed.
• Responsible for all compliance / employee relations issues with in the distribution centers.
• Coordinate performance management program by ensuring performance expectations are set and policy guidelines are being met, conducted effectively and timely.
• Facilitate effective and timely communication between all levels of employees.
• Evaluate and establish goals for the HR staff and assist in measuring ongoing performance.
• Train management in all areas of HR/human capital management. Conduct HR compliance training. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual harassment, leadership skills/development, recruitment, performance management, labor relations, change management, employee counseling, and violence in the workplace.
• Facilitate successful completion of annual Employee Opinion Survey process for the area.
• Handle employee relations issues, investigate charges and prepare responses, resolves conflicts.
• Implement and apply company policies and procedures.
• Monitor worker's comp claims and ensure compliance with Safety Program.
• Assist in answering general benefit questions and benefits enrollment process.
• Monitor compliance of new hires/pay ranges; apply employee merit increase guidelines.
• Conduct onsite Staffing agency audits identifying areas for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Master's degree a plus.
• 10 years of previous HR management experience preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR Compliance / DOL regulations and California Employment Law.
• PHR or SPHR certification a plus.

• Excellent communications and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (day/night).
• High level of integrity; demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and scenarios.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong PC skills (Office Suite).

• Noise level generated from other distribution activity can be somewhat loud at times, but no damaging levels or protective equipment required.
• Temperature in the distribution center can vary greatly from warm to cool.
• Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.
• Regular sitting at work station for 25 - 75% of the work shift.
• Frequent standing and walking.
• Able to work a range of shifts based on operational need
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
