Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory - Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) at Kadlec Regional Medical Center

Under the general direction of the FSED Unit Manager, the Lab Supervisor oversees the activities and work performance of assigned staff in the FSED. Coordinates quality review and QI activities for the Clinical laboratory. Coordinates in-service education for the laboratory and coordinates lab safety training and documentation for technical staff.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science
Four (4) years of Medical Technologist experience with experience in all clinical departments of the laboratory
Two (2) years of direct lab supervision experience
Point of care testing procedure supervisory experience
Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology or National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists or National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts or National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology or National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology or National Laboratory Tech - United States Government
