Our Geosciences Service Line comprises a professional blend of services operating state-wide, regionally and across global opportunities from front-end concept and strategy studies to detail design and operational requirements for a range of diverse mining, oil and gas, infrastructure and water supply clients.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Civil Designer to join our Geosciences Service Line. This is a full-time role, based in either our Perth or Brisbane office.

In this role, the key responsibilities will include:
Design and drafting of civil assets including drainage, roads, rail, dams, tailings, tunnels and earthworks associated with a variety of sectors including mining, hydrocarbons, renewables and infrastructure 
Development of material take-off assessments
The ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams
Possession of excellent communication skills 
To be successful in the role you will have:
Diploma of Civil/Structural Engineering or similar (advantageous)
5+ years’ experience in civil design with a solid knowledge of MicroStation V8i, and 12D
Previous experience working in a multiple discipline project team
A well organized and structured approach
An ability and desire to travel regionally and internationally (as COVID restrictions permit)
Personality traits demonstrating respect, being a team player, maintaining a positive attitude, and enjoying your contributions to the workplace
