If you are passionate about leading a team in supporting families to make positive change then this could be the job for you!

An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Family Connect and Support Program for a Team Leader. The position holds dual responsibilities both that of a Team Leader and at times a small caseload providing direct support to families.

As well as other leadership responsibilities within the program as required, the Team Leader will take a leading role in the management and direction of FCS outreach support in universal settings within community. The Team Leader will coordinate the Lismore and Grafton Families in Focus Interagency and guide its establishment in Tweed Heads, lead FCS participation in awareness raising events and support the FCS leadership team with monthly data extraction.

In addition, you may at times be required to lead and support the FCS Intake team with the triaging of risk, intake and assessments and appropriate interventions.
The person we are looking for will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, solution focused and passionate and have great people and leadership skills. They will also have a deep understanding of the challenges that face families, children and young people and the ability to achieve positive outcomes for participants within a fast-paced environment. In addition, they will have the ability to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the service, build positive connections and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
