The Major Projects and Pursuits Team (MPP) provides the discipline and mindset critical to create, drive and execute a well-articulated sales strategy and build clients for life. We work to increase the firm’s win rate on the most important new and existing clients. The MPP team has supported the firm in 40% of all deals over $5M in the last two years.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-looking new Pursuit Manager to join our specialist Major Projects and Pursuits team.
As a Pursuit Manager, you will deliver results by:
Working with all levels of the partnership to win key major pursuits and retain our most strategic accounts
Helping our client-facing teams to stay focussed on major pursuits by actively project managing the pursuit process to consistently execute the strategy and pursuit tactics whilst managing and driving the pursuit deliverables
Drawing together expertise across our business to find new and creative ways to communicate with our clients and to help assist with unique solutions to our clients’ needs
Managing the development of creative, engaging and insightful pursuit collateral, for example proposal documents and presentations
Supporting teams with the tools, skills, insights and training to win their pursuits
Participating in a continual learning environment by sharing experience and knowledge
You will bring to the role
To be successful in this role you will require:
Sound knowledge of a sales/pursuit methodology
Experience in planning pursuits, coordinating teams and influencing colleagues
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise, set and meet deadlines
Very strong organisation skills, attention to detail, initiative and a proactive, open-minded approach
Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills
The ability to build rapport quickly and develop working relationships with senior stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
The ability to work both independently and contribute to a strong collaborative team culture
Curiosity and interest in new, creative ways of reaching our clients and demonstrating KPMG’s value
Experience with pursuit or business development or in related areas
