Reporting to the Executive General Manager Technology & Innovation the Business & Information Services (BIS) plays an important strategic business enabling function for Adelaide Airport Ltd (AAL) and the Head of Technology is the senior leader of this team.
As the Head of Technology, you will ensure that the BIS team efficiently supports Adelaide and Parafield Airports with business enabling technologies and services. You will ensure that technology support, cyber security, data services and project delivery functions work in a cohesive manner and remain focused on the overall customer experience. Additionally, you will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with peers and senior management, as well as internal and external customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead, mentor and develop all BIS team members. Foster a collaborative, can-do mindset within the team and contribute to the advancement of the BIS team's workplace culture
Working closely with the Executive General Manager Technology & Innovation (EGM T&I) position the BIS team as a key partner that enables and facilitates technology-based business outcomes for internal and external customers
Ensure AAL's technology roadmap supports the company's strategic planning and initiatives
Build strong partnerships and relationships with the executive team and senior leaders across the business
Key requirements include:
A Bachelor's Degree in IT / Commerce or Diploma in IT with relevant ICT sector certifications
Significant management experience, focusing on the development and leadership of a high performing Business Information (BI), ICT or Cyber Security teams
Excellent communication and people skills and comfort in meeting and presenting to a range of stakeholders
Proven experience implementing contemporary technologies, including planning, risk mitigation and change management
Strong commercial and contract management experience to include the project / program delivery management of a range of ICT projects
