WHY BE A PHARMACY STUDENT – IMMUNIZER WITH Loblaw Pharmacy
Temp contract 3 months – Oct/Nov/Dec
You will work for Loblaw while having the support of Corporation.
WHAT YOU DO/GET
Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide optimal customer care
Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
Administer the vaccine
Monitor patient for the adequate time (post injection period)
Support flu/vaccination clinics
Knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling skills (under supervision)
Hands on training
Practice of pharmacy in a community setting
Online learning and development through our Academy platform
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
You must be a student/or enrolled in a Pharmacy program in British Columbia
Injection certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
