Job Description
Job Purpose:
As a member of the QA team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the QA automation of software produced by the Software Development teams across all systems and products. Your ability to design and develop testing strategies, plans and test cases is well recognized by your managers and peers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build testing and automation strategies for platform, product and features in development
Collaborate with external QA teams, Development teams, Project Managers, Business Partners, End Users and other Development and Operations Teams to identify and implement testing solutions
Promote improvements and innovations within software development life cycle and testing processes
Manage test suites and their executions
Perform functional exploratory testing
Work with business analysts to establish acceptance criteria for systems changes
Experience, Education and Designations:
Minimum 6 years IT related experience with specific focus in Software QA
QA Automation Experience
Experience working on a SaaS enterprise web-based and mobile application
Experience with ERP Systems
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Experience designing and executing SQL statements for database manipulation and querying
Experience using Selenium, Postman, or any other test automation frameworks
Proficiency in documenting and recording bugs and errors discovered during system, software testing, training documentation and recommending solutions for corrective actions
Knowledge and understanding of Unit Tests and their implementation
Experience working in Agile development teams
Brand Ambassador for promoting continuous technical improvements and innovations
Strong organizational, writing, interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Possess excellent time and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of change
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Working Conditions:
Usually work regular business hours, but will require evenings and weekends during peak periods
Work in offices, manufacturing facilities, environmentally controlled server rooms
May require travel to local or international sites, conferences and/or seminars
