Business Analyst – Health Apps
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Business Analyst with a history of success in the pharmaceutical or health industry, strong product and application experience, and knowledge of electronic medical records to place at our client, a major international retailer.
Client: Major International Retailer
Terms: 12 Month Contract.
Location: Hybrid - Mississauga

The company is looking for a technical Business Analyst to join the team as they look to implement improvements and upgrades for the supporting tools and applications within the pharmacy and optical departments.
They are looking for a candidate that is interested in being on the forefront of ecommerce and automation technology as this project roles out nation-wide.
Key Qualifications:
4-8+ years working as a business analyst or product owner.
Collaborate with partners, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to develop requirements and strategic solutions.
Experience in eliciting, analyzing, and specifying functional and non-functional requirements comprehensively.
Proven ability to create highly detailed documentation for complex projects.
Experience in data-driven discovery, scoping, and impact analysis.
Experience in creating and conducting detailed test cases and validations.
Experience in working with internal and external partners, integrating multiple systems and complex project delivery.
Experience in driving and completing security and privacy reviews, change control management, risk management, and other project deliverables.
Familiarity with agile practices.
Attributes: drive for excellence, quick learner, highly analytical with attention to detail, strong communication/interpersonal skills.
Key Qualifications:
Ability to take ownership of a technical process improvement from start to finish.
Ecommerce background and supply chain understanding.
Strong API experience and understanding.
Retail, pharmacy, or healthcare industry experience in brick and mortar as well as e-commerce a huge asset.
Knowledge of EMR software, protocols, and industry standards.
Experience in market research, competitor analysis and discovering innovation opportunities.
Required Technologies:
SQL capabilities.
Experience with Tableau.
Expertise in MS Suite, particularly Excel.
Background using project tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
Nice to Have:
EMR experience
Kroll PMS experience.
Pharmacy background.
