3rd Line Support required for at least 5 weeks! Located to the west of Birmingham, hourly rate up to £23, (equivalent to 45k pa),1 direct report, free parking, 37.5 hours per week.
As the 3rd Line Support, you'll be overseeing all computer systems for the European arm of the business - managing systems, software, telephony, overseeing the installation and maintenance of equipment and maintaining computer networks and connectivity and essentially ensuring the continued smooth running of the IT department.

As the 3rd Line Support you will be:
• Supervising daily operations of all IT Systems infrastructure, including telephony within the European region of the business• Supporting the enhancement of the ERP system (NetSuite) and corresponding dealer portals (UK and Nordics), which run on a centralized platform out of the US• Ensuring the security, efficiency and stability of all IT systems for all users in the region• Co-ordinating IT support, including training, communication and orientation for new equipment and new and existing users• Delivering all IT requirements throughout the business in a timely manner• Overseeing trouble shooting/repair where necessary for all IT related issues - managing the employee helpdesk system resolving issues promptly and efficiently• Tracking inventory and status for hardware and software throughout the organisation, ensuring all equipment can be located and is recovered/reallocated where necessary• Line management responsibility for the IT Systems Support Administrator including setting schedules for work, supporting training and assessing performance
You will need the below to succeed as the 3rd Line Support:
• A very strong technical background with hands on capability and experience in managing infrastructure and networks• Expertise in Windows/Microsoft products, particularly Office365• Significant experience in ERP software - previously supporting NetSuite would be an advantage• Experience in relational databases and SQL including a working knowledge of reporting from databases• Previous experience in a generalist infrastructure, IT support or first line support in a windows environment• Experience in a line management/supervisory role• Experience trouble shooting hardware, software and network issues• Excellent communication skills• Problem solving, decision making and excellent organisational skills• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
