THE OPPORTUNITY:Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator working for a small organisation based in Leicestershire. This exciting opportunity with a successful organisation is seeking an Logistics Coordinator to effectively manage customer and supplier traffic flows across the UK and Globally.This will be a full time permanent position.THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Dealing with oversees enquiries, preparing and logging quotations, processing orders for the UK and overseasRaise Import and Export shipping documents and keep track of orders and shipments.Providing detailed and accurate KPI reports through the traffic management systemConstant communication with relevant parties, where services failures will impact on the customers businessEnsuring all shipments are processed and deliveredScheduling all outstanding customers delivery requestsEnsuring that routes are planned in an efficient, cost-effective mannerLiaising with customers on a daily basis. Management of the email inboxData inputGeneral administration dutiesEXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: It would be desirable that you have a logistics background but this is not essential as training will be provided. You MUST have proven experience of strong planning, administration skills and strong communication skills. You will need to be IT literate and be able to adapt to an ever changing fast paced environment.
