We are in the market for an International Payroll Specialist with excellent payroll administration skills, versatile ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global technology company.

Payroll experience in the jurisdictions of South Africa, UK, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden & Belgium will set you up for success in this role.  


  • Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll in a fast-paced environment using multiple payroll systems
  • Provide employees with information regarding pay cheques and assist in resolving discrepancies with pay cheques
  • Ensure that the appropriate controls and procedures are in-place and being followed regarding payroll processing in order to ensure they are effective and efficient processes
  • Work closely with Human Resources on programs such as benefits administration, personnel audits, retirement savings process, testing, and reporting, and other business reporting
  • Perform a timely and accurate monthly close process for all Payroll functions including reconciliations of accounts and systems, review of all accruals for accuracy.
  • Coordinate timely and accurate transmission/receipt of payroll files and records to third-party payroll or benefit vendors and ensure payments made timely.
  • Maintain familiarity with current tax regulations and procedures through review of department trade subscriptions. Working with managers, implement procedural changes as necessary when tax regulations change
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained: ensure department files are locked as appropriate, discuss employee issues only with authorized personnel, and exercise discretion in conversations in open areas.
  • Assist with special projects, such as research for audit support, as requested
  • Jurisdictions: South Africa, UK, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden & Belgium

  • Knowledge of general payroll practices and revenue regulations for South Africa, UK, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden & Belgium (strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 2+ years in Payroll Administration (technology industry preferred)
  • Native or bi-lingual proficiency in English (essential)
  • Experience with commissions, incentive compensation, retirement savings, etc...
  • Strong system skills including various payroll systems such as ADP, Streamline or similar
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent payroll administration skills with strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively and independently with senior management across the organization
  • Adaptable to change
  • Native, bi-lingual or business proficiency in German, Spanish or Dutch (advantageous)
