The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist Jasmine Unit to join Gold Coast Health GCH where the focus of our 10 -strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.p>

You will

Deliver client centred individual and group occupational therapy services and plan, implement and review all occupational therapy programs
Conduct routine occupational therapy tasks commensurate with level of experience in accordance with established clinical and departmental protocols
Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician
Communicate proactively and effectively with other relevant health professional staff, consumers, their family members and outside agencies as required

About you

To be successful in this position you will require

A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
Important Company Registration
To work towards becoming an authorised mental health practitioner under the Mental Health Act
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella Chicken Pox, Pertussis Whooping Cough, Hepatitis B and COVID
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
