Our client, an information security risk company based in Sandton is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to be responsible for technical solution support, operations, and continuous development in scope of information technology services including the depending team. Ensuring service capabilities meet the corporate demand, are secure and remains relevant. Fulfils vision and roadmap of information technology services into tangible solutions, working within the team according to established processes and operations, including priorities and commitments to The Head of IT. The role is accountable for information lifecycle management and operations, ensuring services are continuously compatible with industry best practices, internal quality standards and external certifications. Certifications that would be beneficial:MatricMicrosoft Fundamentals (MS-)Microsoft Modern Desktop administrator associate (MD-, MD-)Microsoft Security Administrator Associate (MS-)Azure Security compliance and identity fundamentals (SC-)Post graduate qualification would be advantageousThe role will be responsible for the following:Responsible for providing troubleshooting and support to all users and corporate devicesResponsible for operations and support of the information life cycle for all users (including onboarding, offboarding, asset management, deploying corporate devices)Responsible for operations and support of supporting user infrastructure (including telecommunications and internet, meeting room equipment, wireless networking)Cyber security support of solutions and servicesResponding to threats and alerts and ensuring user and device security complianceSupporting data loss prevention and disaster recovery (including backups and compliance)Supporting the IT roadmap, collaborating with peers ensuring positive progress and productivityResponsibility of managing and delivering work according to commitments to ensure goals are achieved with the respective timelinesResolving blockers or priority conflicts that may affect service availabilityInformation Technology visibility and reporting: ensuring continuous information flow to management on operation status, security, service availability, cost allocation and consumptionRisk management including auditing and compliancy management for internal and external policies or certifications (eg.
