Engineering/Environmental Science or similarAssignment: PermanentJob DescriptionResponsible for calculating mine closure costs that are practical and satisfy regulatory requirements.Manage the closure costs by providing a management framework for clientsRequired to develop mine closure strategies, plans, policies and proceduresPeer reviews of mine closure strategies and closure costs, providing a technical report on the findings.Develop and implement mine closure project plans, in consultation with client, to guide decommissioning and rehabilitation activities. Develop future end land use plans.Provide advice and guidance to the client in terms of the implementation of the mine closure plan.Effectively carry out project administration on closure related projects using the organisations methodologiesEvaluate and monitor the mine closure and rehabilitation plans throughout the various stages of the mine life.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
