What should you have:

  • At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with Elastic stack(aka ELK Stack - ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana) administration experience
  • Understanding of Query DSL, index, mappings, shard allocation and segments
  • Work knowledge in Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows Based server environments
  • Development experience in one or two languages is preferred. (Golang, Java, Perl, Python, Bash shell scripting),SQL and deploy new applications on boarded to ELK and Dashboard creations
  • Influencing other teams and engineering groups in adopting logging best practices
  • Closely work with teams maintaining legacy applications for log standardization (and correlation)
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible
  • Troubleshooting problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with a focus on minimizing impact to our customers
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring and micro services applications
  • Applying best practices for managing cluster, scaling and capacity planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team
