ComForCare Home Care is hiring the BEST Registered Nurses (RN) in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and surrounding areas. We provide private duty care for 1:1 clients in the home and also provide a la carte services to the residents of an Independent Living Community. Our nurses assist with assessments, reassessments, on call responsibilities, auditing, and providing skilled nursing services when available. ComForCare Home Care is looking for caring and compassionate nurses to be a part of our team and we want the BEST!!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Performing comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
  • Developing an individualized plan of care for each client that incorporates analysis of data and current scientific findings.
  • Providing interventions with a focus on achieving realistic client outcomes.
  • Reporting changes to update the plan of care to reflect progress towards goals and outcomes.
  • Administering medications as needed.
  • Maintaining client records showing systematic assessments, planning interventions, and evaluations.
  • Initiating referrals as needed to other health team members.


What we’re looking for:

  • Current RN certification without any findings.
  • 1 year experience in home care environment.
  • Daytime flexibility.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Knowledge of EMR.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, families, coworkers, and all supervisors.
  • Ability to accurately follow and process written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use computer/cell phone for e-mails and properly documenting client care.
  • Ability to use iPad "on the go" to use in client's home for assessments and care plans.
  • Satisfactorily demonstrate and perform competency in clinical skills through competency checklist and skills test.
