Section II: Summary of Job Function



Professional Care Provider responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care within a designated time period. Provides nursing care based on department and regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with other members of the health care team.

Section III: Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure



BSN a must. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Current New Jersey RN license; Current BLS Certification; and completion of required skill level courses. ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire. TNCC within 1 year of hire. Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred and highly encouraged to attain.

  10. Utilizes the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe and effective patient care in a timely manner.
