$2,500 sign on Bonus for eligible new hires JOB SUMMARY The Behavioral Service Technician#functions as a key member of an interdisciplinary team, providing highly structured psychiatric services to emotionally impaired patients. Key responsibilities include: providing immediate crisis management services in response to behavioral emergencies using accepted non-verbal, verbal and physical techniques, encouraging patient self-care or providing direct care with patient ADL#s and maintaining and documenting special precautions. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: High School diploma or equivalent required Valid State of Maine CNA license BLS certification MANDT required for brief but extreme periods of physical intervention to manage out Experience: Will consider new CNA with applicable experience Other Skills Required: Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure Ability to manage stress appropriately Flexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
