Job Details:

Scheduled Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm & every other weekend

$3,000 Sign On Bonus eligibility for qualified LPN candidates.

$5,000 Sign On Bonus eligibility for qualified RN candidates.

Job Description:

Assess patient health problems and needs. Maintain medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Works in collaboration with other health team members to provide services to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Ensures timely hospital discharge, and excellent communication with primary care providers (PCP's), patients and families, specialists, hospital departments and administration. Collaborates with the hospital interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care for patients in the discharge process.

Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa

Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration

Prior direct patient care experience preferred

Computer experience preferred
