The Department of Medical Nursing at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is looking for exceptional nurses to join their newest Adult Medical B Unit. Be a Part of Something Bigger and become part of our nursing family!

Medical B is a 36-bed fast paced unit - pace is like an ED, but the patients are not. Medical subspecialties include: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Pulmonary, Geriatrics, Hematology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology, Oncology

* Patients are admitted with acute medical illnesses & chronic co-morbidities
* 6 beds devoted to oncology patients
* One wing devoted to dialysis patients.
* Large subset of patients present with psychiatric and/or substance disorders

1:6 ratios, Chemo certification after 18-36 months. Great unit for RNs who want to specialize in Chemo. After Certification, RN will go to any floor to admin chemo to pts.

Shift: FT, Rotating Day/Nights, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Qualifications:

* Current Maryland or Compact RN license
* CPR certification - AHA, Red Cross
* Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred, BSN to be completed within four years
* New Grad RN or Previous RN experience.
