Our highly dynamic team is seeking an intermediate level Planner to join our growing team in Brisbane. Beca’s planning team are involved in a number of challenging and exciting projects across Australia, ranging from major infrastructure, land development and strategic development projects.
This exciting opportunity provides you with the chance to work across the business, connecting with different business lines such s Defence, Marine and Ports, Airports, Transport, Industrial, Water, and Sustainability in addition to your day-to-day core abilities. Joining a growing team will require you to display versatility and agility, work collaboratively across business lines, manage the day-to-day business and explore growth opportunities for the business.
Working closely with our national planning team, you will be responsible for
Client report preparation and documentation including development approvals.
Coordination of technical specialist reports
Stakeholder engagement activities
Environmental Impact Assessment
Preparation of tenders and proposals
Maintaining relationships with our valued clients

What we’ll like about you
To be considered for this opportunity you will require:
Undergraduate and/or post graduate degree in planning, environment planning or an equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated planning, development and/or land management experience
Extensive knowledge, understanding and experience of relevant QLD planning legislation;
Proven experience in a similar role within a consultancy or similar practice;
Highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage expectations;
A desire to work in a team environment is essential;
Excellent communication and listening skills;
