About Narrandera Homestead Care Community (70 Beds):

Located in the heart of the Riverina, Narrandera Homestead Care Community reflects the warm country charm of the surrounding area.

Our Care Community has a vibrant social life, with activities and groups designed to meet individual interests and encourage personal connections among our residents and the wider community.

About the role:

  • Based at Narrandera Homestead Care Community. 
  • Permanent Part-time & Casual roles available
  • A range of shifts available including: AM, PM and Night Duty shifts. Weekday and weekend shifts are also available.
  • Assisting residents with Personal Care needs
  • Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living
  • Ensuring accurate and concise documentation in Care Planning
  • Working under the direction of Registered Nurses and Senior Management

  • Successful candidates will have: 

  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent
  • Work experience as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) in Australia
  • Knowledge of aged care regulations and funding (ACFI)
  • Knowledge of the 8 new aged care standards would be highly regarded, but not essential
  • Empathy towards the needs of the frail aged (dementia care included) is essential along with your passion for delivering high quality care
  • All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance via Opal’s police check system and undergo a pre-employment medical. You may also be required to attend a drug screen and complete psychometric testing. 

    You must also be willing to obtain a personal NDISWC through your state government provider prior to commencing employment with us.

    Please note: a current flu vaccination will also be required for you to work in our Care Communities, as well as full vaccination against COVID19.
