Early Childhood Teacher - C&K Emerald South Community Childcare Centre
About the role:
C&K Emerald South Community Childcare Centre is a community based, not for profit centre, located in Emerald Central QLD. At C&K Emerald South Community Childcare Centre, we are proud of our spacious natural environment and use this as a catalyst for challenging and open-ended play where children are provided with uninterrupted time to explore and engage in learning.
C&K provides high quality educational experiences through the implementation of the new revised curriculum "Listening & Learning Together" by encouraging children to express their own ideas through play to develop friendships, explore, solve problems, help others, imagine, create and extend on their interests.
This position offers an opportunity to be a part of the center and run the kindergarten program in the Kindy space. The Centre is looking for an Early Childhood Professional who is willing to commit to the Centre through 2022.
This position is a fixed term full time contract position till November 2022, with the possibility of continuing in the role. You will be working 40 hours per week as the Kindergarten Teacher.
As the Teacher, you will have an ability to document and assess children's learning behavior and development. You will be able to model and support the room educators to utilise a variety of teaching strategies including intentional teaching and reflective practice in daily work.

We welcome applications and interest from newly qualified Teachers interested in their first Teaching role within Early Childhood, as well as experienced teachers with an understanding of a play-based curriculum encompassing birth to 5 practice across the centre.
You will be given training and support to C&K's new revised curriculum "Listening & Learning Together". C&K offers an online learning education hub and has a dedicated Learning and Development department which provides our employees access to online training and courses for our employees to access.
