Working with our Public Sector client we are seeking a Building Maintenance Surveyor/Inspector with the following attributes:-An ability to diagnose building faults and prepare schedules of work.The ability to manage contracts and contractors including:-Managing the Client/Contractor relationship Performance measurementCommunication skills to enable you to relate to employees and customers and negotiate with Contractors and other organisations.skills & Ability e.g. written communication skills, dealing with the public etc.Written communication skills to write reports and letters.Knowledge of the current Building Regulations.A commitment to the delivery of the highest quality of service with an emphasis on the importance of the customers varied needs. This will include consultation with residents and translation of their needs into practical solutions.A building qualification or comparable level of technical experience/knowledge relating to property repair and maintenance.Training/Education/ Qualifications. Suitable applicants will be expected to possess qualification to ONC/B Tech in Building Services or City and Guilds London Institute Advanced Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.An understanding of the Institute of Electrical Engineers Regulations, the Gas Safety (Installation and Use Regulations) and other Engineering Service Regulations will be a distinct advantage.Contact Ken Wood and Network Public Sector
