Responsibilities


In your new role, you will:
  • Lead technical direction of our High Voltage GaN program for main inverters
  • Derive product requirements and drive roadmaps
  • Develop and run reference designs and relative test setups to evaluate and showcase the performances of GaN in automotive main inverters
  • Be the go-to-person for worldwide customers as well as Field Application Engineers regarding HV GaN for main inverters
  • Provide technical support from product to system level
  • Conduct feasibility, benchmarking and development studies
  • Conduct trainings and workshops for Field Application Engineers or customers
  • Pro-actively share your knowledge as well as gather and consolidate feedback from regional Field Application Engineers
  • Generate product related collaterals like application notes, whitepapers and training material to support the technical promotion of our HV GaN products

Your Profile


You anticipate even the future needs of customers and actively engage with customers about these needs. You know the factors for successful innovation, promote the necessary conditions and give direction in your area of expertise. You remain solution-oriented, open and flexible, even when you are under pressure.

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • At least 8 years of technical professional work experience in power electronics
  • Previous solid experience with GaN/WBG technologies
  • Experience as a technical lead and know how to advise others, consolidate deliverables and drive solutions
  • Knowledge and technical experience in electrical and inverter related designs
  • Proven lab experience developing and testing demo-boards; knowledge of PCB design and Layout aspects
  • Proven debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with automotive test certifications and EMC design considerations for automotive applications would be helpful
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
