Automation & Live Production Support Engineer

Vizrt is looking for skilled Support Engineers to join the team. You should have experience building or maintaining systems using many platforms and technologies. This opportunity is a great fit for system admin and field support engineer looking to step up to the next level.

What you'll bring

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Broadcast Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
3+ years system administration experience working in support role in Broadcast System Integrator or Software/Hardware Vendors
Experience in studio broadcast environment and equipment such as Automation application, video server, vision switcher, audio mixer, router, robotic camera and NRCS
Good understanding of news studio workflow and video technology
Experience in Windows and networking system administration
Good investigation and troubleshooting logic
Experience troubleshooting mission critical software systems
Experience providing second line support for customers in a professional manner
Written & spoken English language proficiency
Able to work a flexible shift pattern including nights, evenings and weekends

Preferred Experience
Broadcast and Digital Media industry experience as a system engineer or support engineer
Experience and/or knowledge and/of previously support of Viz Mozart, Viz Opus and NewTek Tricaster will be added bonus

What You'll Do

Responsible for analyzing and finding solutions to technical support issues. Customers log technical support issues in our support portal or by phone. The Support Engineer picks up these issues and works with the customer to find a solution to the technical issues.

Tasks and Duties
Support high-quality systems in Vizrt clients as part of a 24/7 global support team
Troubleshoot and configure Vizrt systems in production in an efficient and professional manner
Communicate with customers about their technical issues in a professional and timely manner
