Job Description

Ensure the overall quality and customer satisfaction for the product(s) for which your team is responsible through analysis of design / requirements documentation, required testing and Production implementation. Contribute to continuously improving the quality of your team’s product subject matter expertise, understanding of development and testing processes. Collaborate with business and technical representatives to provide input on established requirements / specifications and standards for bug fixes and enhancements for your team’s product(s). Actively valuate and test software programs to verify functionality against established requirements / specifications and development and security standards to ensure the product(s) work as expected. Actively collaborate with Developers Product and other Quality Assurance team members to ensure project delivery deadlines are met. Act as a representative of the Quality Assurance team to customers and other departments in coordinating efforts, fielding concerns, and prioritizing work.

Essential Functions
  • Utilize programming skills and available testing technologies to create automated tests to run against web, desktop, and mobile applications.
  • Work closely with project managers, product, manual QA, and development to understand features and create comprehensive automated tests to validate functionality
  • Gain an understanding of the automation framework to diagnose and fix issues as required.
  • Understand how to execute and analyze both automated and manual test cases and evaluate their results.
  • Conduct as appropriate ad-hoc technical training, design and code reviews, and help to resolve technical issues for the test automation suite.
  • Produce clear and detailed reports that reflect open issues for QA, development, and management groups to review.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to deliver on the goals and schedules set by management.
  • Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers and management.
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Gain familiarity with various testing types and techniques: black box, white box, integration, usability, smoke, negative, acceptance, regression, etc.
  • Ability to utilize automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • The necessary focus to drill deep into software to identify, reproduce, and isolate software defects.
  • 1 year experience working with Software in quality assurance, high school or college education or related certificate programs.
  • Associate or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical degree preferred
  • Experience in Java, Javascript, Selenium and API testing is a plus.
