Our Environmental team are critical to our business, providing advice across all phases of planned and unplanned work. They establish baseline conditions on environmental aspects, and impacts, that could adversely affect operations.
Clancy are recruiting for an experienced environmental professional to support the delivery functions of the Anglian Water contract, providing environmental advice across design, construction and reinstatement phases to projects, ensuring regulatory compliance whilst promoting the safeguarding of the environment.
This varied role will put you in contact with colleagues across our business, as well as our client and statutory regulators where we’ll look to you to build lasting relationships.
You will undertake preliminary assessments, commission, and manage specialist surveys, and produce reports in support of operational efficiency, safety, and positive environmental impact.

Waste management understanding and experience of environmental permits and compliance along with excellent stakeholder management, proactivity and accountability are all pre-requisites for this role.
We’ll take it as read that you have experience working in the environmental sector and knowledge of relevant legislation.
Our environmental team colleagues need to be able to write technical reports using correct language and be able to carry out detailed investigations. This role will test your technical understanding as well as your communication skills.
Relevant professional qualification e.g., IEMA, CIWEM, IES, CIWM and a degree in an environmental discipline are important, and experience implementing ISO14001 and working specifically within utilities or construction would be desirable.
A full valid driving licence and the willingness, ability and flexibility to travel contract wide at short notice is essential.
