IT Project Manager II
The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of the project and must be competent in managing the six aspects of a project, i.e., scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.
Must have skills
Experience in managing complex internetworking projects within Retail Industry touching locations across North America, Carribean and India.
Experience managing projects in a US India Matrix team environment.
Project management certification (PMI/CAPM or PMP/PgMP, PRINCE2) Or Agile (SAFe/Scrum)/ Lean Six Sigma
Hands on experience in Project management tools including MS Project and Service Now ITBM.
Stakeholder Management including internal customers and vendor partners in a strong matrix environment.
Project reporting and governing the scope, cost, schedules and resources.
Vendor Management experience in telco (AT&T, Verizon) and networking technologies (e.g. Cisco).
Good to have skills
Experience in MS Project, Service Now ITBM, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence
PMI / Scrum certifications
Understanding & application of Waterfall / Agile/ Lean/ 6σ principles
10 - 15 Years in IT Project Management space
Roles & Responsibilities
Identifies, assesses and manages risks for the success of the project
Estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion to agreed terms of reference for each project
Prepares and maintains project plans and tracks activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports as appropriate
Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and reviews actions where these deviate from agreed tolerances with line manager. Ensures that deliverables are implemented within these criteria
Manages the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project stakeholders Identifies issues and problems with scope and progress of the project
Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
