Despatch Operative

We are Passionate Pioneers of Fresh Herbs and we have an exciting opportunity for a Despatch Operative to join our expanding team based in Bourne, Lincs.

You will be responsible for collating all customer products ready for despatch. To ensure all customers orders are collated and out-loaded to pre-agreed standards and parameters. Communicate with other areas of the business to ensure that aims are achieved and targets are met in a safe and efficient manner, whilst continuously improving systems, performance and operations.

• You will to ensure that targets are being met & exceeded.
• Recommend areas for improvement within your team to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Encourage colleagues to improve working practices and methods.
• Indicate outload times to SOP for smooth outload of customers orders.
• Work with 3rd parties (e.g. hauliers) to improve overall performance.
• Be responsible for planning your area.
• Be responsible for the completion of all the paper work required on the intake and despatch in a timely manner.
• Ensure a good understanding of the systems of work.
• Ensure the despatch and intake is clean at all times.

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate a good standard of written and spoken English.

Salary: £10.47 per hour

This is a full time position working 5 days in 7 with 2 days off per week.
